01 1. About These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Las Vegas Air Conditioning ("we," "us," "our"). By requesting a quote, scheduling service, or receiving service from us, you ("customer," "you") agree to these Terms.
These Terms are updated periodically. The version in effect at the time of your service is the version that applies. Material changes are announced on this page.
02 2. Services Provided
Las Vegas Air Conditioning provides HVAC installation, repair, maintenance, indoor air quality solutions, and commercial HVAC services within our published service area (Las Vegas + nearby coverage areas).
All services are performed by provincially licensed technicians. Gas work is performed under licensed gas fitter license. All installs are municipal permit-pulled and inspected where required by local building code.
03 3. Quotes and Pricing
Quotes are provided free of charge after on-site assessment. Quotes are written and hold for 30 days from date of issue.
Pricing ranges published on our service pages reflect typical Las Vegas pricing for the specific work described. Your written quote provides the exact price for your specific project.
Additional work discovered after starting is quoted separately and requires your written approval before proceeding.
04 4. Warranties
Workmanship warranty: 1 year on all install work covering our labour and installation quality. Extended workmanship warranties available for select installs.
Manufacturer warranty: passed through directly from the manufacturer for equipment installed. Registration handled by us at install. Terms vary by manufacturer (typically 5-12 years parts, 1-year labour on residential equipment).
Repair warranty: 90 days on repair parts and labour for the specific repair performed. Does not cover unrelated failures.
05 5. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of work unless financing has been pre-arranged. Payment methods accepted: e-transfer, credit card (2% surcharge), and cheque (business hours only).
Financing available through third-party financing partners for installs $3,000+. Terms subject to credit approval.
Non-payment: unpaid invoices accrue interest at 2% per month after 30 days. Legal collection action may be initiated after 60 days.
06 6. Emergency Service
24/7 emergency response is available. After-hours emergency fee: $149. Diagnostic fee: $149 (may be waived if repair is authorized same visit).
Response times are targets, not guarantees. Actual response depends on current queue, weather, and travel conditions. Priority given to life-safety emergencies (winter no-heat, gas leak, CO alarm).
07 7. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Scheduled service: reschedule at no charge with 24+ hours notice. Same-day cancellations may incur a $99 rescheduling fee.
Installation projects: 20% deposit is non-refundable once equipment is ordered. Remaining balance refundable if cancelled before install day.
Maintenance plans: cancellable at any time. Refund pro-rated based on services already delivered under the plan.
08 8. Access and Safety
You are responsible for providing safe access to work areas including basement equipment, rooftop units, and outdoor units.
We reserve the right to refuse service or leave a job site if we determine conditions are unsafe (structural issues, hazardous materials, aggressive pets not secured, etc.). Any deposit paid remains refundable in this circumstance.
09 9. Liability
Las Vegas Air Conditioning carries $5M liability insurance covering property damage caused by our work. Claims must be reported within 30 days of the incident.
We are not liable for pre-existing conditions in your HVAC system, ductwork, or electrical/gas infrastructure that we did not install. Diagnostic findings identify pre-existing issues; repair of those is separately quoted.
Consequential damages (business interruption, spoiled food, lost income) are not covered. Direct damage caused by our workmanship is covered under our liability policy.
10 10. Rebate and Warranty Paperwork
Rebate paperwork (federal energy rebate, local gas utility, provincial programs) is handled by us as part of qualified installs. Rebate approval is subject to program requirements and government approval; we cannot guarantee approval.
Rebate savings are applied to invoice pricing where the program allows post-install claim; some programs pay you directly. We disclose which model applies during quote.
11 11. Privacy
We collect only the information necessary to provide service (name, address, phone, email, service history). Payment information is processed by third-party payment processors; we do not store card numbers.
We do not sell or share customer information with third parties for marketing purposes. Rebate paperwork may share limited information with the rebate administrator to process your claim.
12 12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of the applicable jurisdiction. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through the local courts of jurisdiction.
