Ductless mini-split repair for Mitsubishi, Daikin, Fujitsu, LG, Carrier and Rheem units. Blower motor, capacitor, control board, refrigerant charge, condensate line diagnostics. Both single-zone and multi-zone systems.
Common mini-split failures
1. CONDENSATE LINE CLOG: the indoor unit produces condensation during cooling. When the drain line clogs (usually with dust or biofilm), water backs up and drips from the indoor unit. Fix: clear the line, disinfect. $180-$280.
2. INDOOR BLOWER MOTOR: variable-speed blower motors can fail. Symptom: unit runs but no air. Replacement: $350-$550.
3. CONTROL BOARD: the brain of the indoor unit or outdoor unit. Failure means erratic operation, error codes, or full non-function. Replacement: $450-$750.
4. REFRIGERANT LEAK: less common in ductless than central AC because the refrigerant lines are shorter and factory-crimped. When leaks do occur, usually at the factory-crimped fittings. Repair + recharge: $350-$650.
For multi-zone systems, the outdoor unit is a shared point — a failure there affects every indoor head. Diagnostic identifies whether the fault is indoor-head-specific or system-wide. Related in Las Vegas: AC installation, AC repair, and duct cleaning.
The service call
Cooling emergencies same-day summer, heating emergencies same-day winter. Error code from remote noted on the phone if you can read it.
Both units tested. Refrigerant pressures verified. Blower motor draw check. Control board error code history. Condensate line flow test.
Straight pricing. Manufacturer warranty parts flagged. Diagnostic credited on repair.
Part replaced or system serviced. Cooling and heating modes both cycled. Condensate line tested. Remote functions verified.
Multi-zone diagnostic
Multi-zone ductless systems (2-8 indoor heads on one outdoor unit) share the outdoor condenser and compressor. When only one indoor head fails, the diagnostic focuses on that head. When multiple indoor heads fail simultaneously, the fault is almost always at the outdoor unit.
Common outdoor unit failures: capacitor, contactor, control board, outdoor fan motor. Same failure list as central AC, similar diagnostic.
Indoor head failures are usually specific to that head: blower motor, control board, indoor coil, condensate pump. We isolate by testing one head at a time.
Refrigerant charge issues affect all heads on a multi-zone system, because they share the refrigerant loop. Recharge quantity is higher than single-zone systems, so recharge cost is higher too. Related in Las Vegas: AC installation, AC repair, and duct cleaning.

Water dripping from the indoor head one morning. Called, tech was there by noon, cleared the drain line and disinfected. No more drips. Simple fix, honestly priced.
Mitsubishi indoor head control board failed at year 5. Manufacturer parts warranty covered it, only paid labour. Smooth process.
Two of our four zones stopped cooling. Diagnosed outdoor capacitor failure, replaced. All four zones back to cooling within 90 minutes.
3-year-old Daikin had a slow refrigerant leak. Found leak at factory-crimped fitting, resealed, recharged. Cooling capacity fully restored.
