Las Vegas 24/7 emergency HVAC — no-heat winter, heatwave AC failure

Las Vegas Air Conditioning — emergency service

When to call emergency

The four emergency situations

1. NO HEAT IN WINTER — Las Vegas winter no-heat is life-safety. Pipes freeze and burst below 4°C indoor temperature. Elderly and infant occupants are at risk. Emergency response. 90-minute target business hours, 2-3 hour target overnight/weekend.

2. NO COOL IN HEATWAVE — for households with medical vulnerability or infant/elderly occupants, AC failure during 30°C+ heatwave is emergency. Same response protocol.

3. GAS SMELL — leave building immediately, call 911, then gas utility. Do NOT flip light switches, do NOT use phone inside, do NOT ignite anything. Call us once building is confirmed safe by utility.

4. CO ALARM SOUNDING — carbon monoxide alarm is emergency. Get everyone out, call 911. CO poisoning can be fatal. We diagnose the source (typically cracked heat exchanger) after emergency responders clear the scene. Related in Las Vegas: AC installation, AC repair, and 24/7 emergency service.

Emergency service FAQs

Las Vegas HVAC emergency service questions answered

Life-safety situations: no-heat in winter (below 4°C indoor risk), no-cool with medically vulnerable occupants during heatwave, gas smell, CO alarm, water leak from HVAC equipment causing damage. Comfort issues (thermostat blinking, uneven heating) are not emergencies — same-day appointment during business hours.
Business hours (Mon-Fri 8am-6pm): 90 minutes target for life-safety, 2 hours for comfort emergencies. Evenings + weekends: 2-3 hours for life-safety. Overnight (midnight-6am): 3-4 hours unless immediate life-safety. Maintenance plan customers: priority — jumps the queue.
$149 after-hours fee covers response outside business hours. Diagnostic + repair pricing same as business hours (no emergency multiplier on repair costs). Plan customers: fee waived, plus 15% off repair. For a $250 typical repair at 2am, non-plan total: $549. Plan customer total: $213.
LEAVE THE HOUSE IMMEDIATELY. Do NOT flip light switches (spark risk). Do NOT use phone inside. Do NOT restart anything. Once outside: call 911, then your gas utility. Both will respond immediately. Once utility confirms building is safe, call us for the repair. NEVER attempt to find the leak yourself.
Get everyone out immediately. Call 911. CO poisoning can be fatal — get to fresh air. Once emergency responders clear the scene, call us. Most CO issues come from cracked heat exchangers or blocked flues — we diagnose and repair source.
