Provincial gas work license (the province: licensed gas fitter or G1). Required for any residential or commercial gas equipment install. We are G2 licensed. Ask for our license number, we'll provide it.
HRAI membership
Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada. Industry association with training, code updates, and ethical standards. HRAI members held to code of conduct. We are HRAI members.
Liability + WSIB
$5M liability insurance covers property damage. WSIB coverage protects you if a worker is injured on your property. Both should be confirmed in writing on your quote.
Permits pulled + inspected
Every gas install should have a municipal permit and post-install inspection. If a contractor offers to skip the permit to save cost, that's a red flag — you inherit the code compliance risk. We always permit + inspect.
